5. Hold the curling iron attachment in position for approx. 10 seconds.
When curling a strand of hair, first set a high temperature setting
and then set the lowest temperature setting at the end. This cool-
down effect will make the curl last longer.
6. Switch off the appliance and carefully pull the curling iron attachment
down and out of your hair.
7. For a natural look, change the winding direction of the attachment multiple
times while styling all sections of your hair.
After use
M After styling your hair, slide the On/Off switch downwards, disconnect the
mains plug from the power socket and allow the appliance to cool down
completely.
M Ensure that no one accidentally touches the hot parts while the appliance
is cooling down!
M After use, put the appliance down where the attachment is not touching
anything until it has cooled down sufficiently. Ensure that any surface on
which the appliance is placed is heat-resistant.
M If necessary, remove hairs as described in the chapter "Cleaning".
M Store the product as described in the chapter "Storage".

• Only insert the mains plug into a properly installed power socket with
a mains voltage that corresponds with the technical specifications of
the appliance.
Ensure that the power socket is easily accessible, so that the mains plug
can be disconnected quickly if necessary.
• Remove the mains plug from the power socket when you are not using
the appliance, if malfunctions occur during use, during thunderstorms
and before cleaning the appliance.
• Do not wind the mains cable around the appliance. Over time, doing this can
lead to cable breakage and thus to the risk of cable fire and electric shock.
• The mains cable must not be kinked or crushed. Keep the mains cable away
from hot surfaces and sharp edges. Do not hang the appliance up by its cable.
• Do not use the appliance if it or the mains cable shows any signs of damage
or if the appliance has fallen down.
• Do not make any modifications to the product. Do not attempt to replace the
mains cable yourself. If the mains cable is damaged, it must be replaced only
by the manufacturer or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
Have repairs to the appliance carried out only by a specialist workshop or by
a similarly qualified person. Improper repairs can result in considerable risks
to the user.
• Only use the accessories supplied.
• Do not insert any objects into the air intake or air outlet openings.
