Tips for Energy Savings

The desired warm water temperature is best set directly
on the flow-through heater.
Mixing with cold water at the armature for water that is too
hot consumes unnecessarily water and energy.
At approx. 40 °C, the appliance operates most
economically.
On the DE..115 "eco" is shown in economy mode
(temperature up to 42°C, flow rate up to approx. 7 litres
per minute).
Start-up after Work on the Water Line
As a result of work on the water line, air can enter
the system of the flow-through heater and damage
it when in operation.
Disconnect the appliance from the mains voltage (switch
off the circuit breaker in the house electrical installation).
Turn on the hot-water tap until the air is purged from the
pipe.
Switch the circuit breaker on again.
For DE..115 only:
Please note that changing the temperature setting when
the units are not connected to the voltage supply will not
be registered.

Cleaning
Simply wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. Remove
possible calcium spots with vinegar cleaner. Do not use
scouring agents.
A Malfunction, What to do?
In the event of appliance malfunction, it is often the case that
this is due to a minor fault which can be rectified by yourself.
Please read the following information to see if this is the case.
This saves the costs incurred by unnecessary customer
service operations.
The water does not heat up or the water flow is too weak:
Check the fuse in the house electrical installation.
Pressure drop in the pipe network. The appliance will not
switch on when the pressure is too low.
The valves are clogged. Open the warm water tap com-
pletely and open and close the valves several times. Then
clean the filter screen.
The filter of the water tap or the shower head is clogged.
Unscrew the filter and clean or descale it.
For DE..115 only:
If "Service" appears on the heater, contact the after-
sales department immediately.
