The COMfortel WS-650 IP manages all the DECT system's com-
ponents and the IP interface to the PBX.
The COMfortel WS-650 IP can manage up to 30 DECT handsets
and up to 32 voice channels simultaneously. After the activation
of all voice channels the COMfortel WS-650 IP can manage up to
4096 DECT handsets and up to 1024 voice channels simultane-
ously. To obtain the necessary radio coverage, you can apply up
to 256 COMfortel WS-Base Multicell Bases to your Wireless Sys-
tem.
To run the COMfortel WS-650 IP, you need a SIP-capable PBX,
e.g.:
COMpact 5000/R
COMpact 5020 VoIP
COMmander 6000/R/RX
The COMfortel WS-650 IP is designed to be used in closed, dry
rooms.
To configure the wireless system via the Configuration Manager
you must use a PC which is running in the same network (sub-
net).
Important: Some of the functions require activation in the
Upgrade Center or a hardware upgrade.
Note: You can obtain accessory components and service com-
ponents either from specialist retailers or from distriCOM's Inter-
net shop (see www.districom.de). distriCOM's Internet shop
only delivers within Germany and Austria.
