Update method of WANBO T6R Max
The update has to be done exactly according to the update method. The firmware type,
firmware format, firmware content and upgrade method cannot be changed.
This update also includes the Netflix and Disney+ streaming apps. If you want
these services on your projector, an update to the latest firmware version is
required.

Step 1: Download the update file, extract it, and copy it to the root directory of the
USB flash drive.
USB drive format: supports only FAT32 format, does not support NTFS format.

A USB drive cannot have multiple partitions. If the upgrade fails, the device may
•
change the contents of the USB drive.
The upgrade file must be placed in the root directory of the USB drive.

Do not use all-metal USB drives. This can lead to short circuits or read and write
•
errors, which may result in a failed upgrade.
Step 2: Insert the USB drive into the USB port of the device.
Step 3: Go to Settings > Updates > Local updates and select the update file.
To perform the update, you must first turn off the projector, connect the USB
•
drive, and then connect power to make it work. The update process cannot be
interrupted, so do not turn off the device or disconnect the power during the
update.
Update process: when you click the Update button, the update software is copied
to the device, the device reboots after the copy is complete, then updates, and
finally reboots with the new system.
