Cheese fondue

- Fill the grated cheese into the fondue pot. Use well-melting, aromatic cheeses, such as Gruyère, Appenzeller
and/or Emmentaler.
- Turn the temperature control FONDUE to a medium level. The control lamp lights up as long as the device
heats up. As soon as the set temperature is reached, the control lamp goes off.
- Melt the cheese while constantly stirring. Form an 8 so that the cheese melts evenly and the ingredients combine
well. The fondue pot should not be filled more than approx. 2⁄3. As an alternative, the cheese can be melted
in a pot on the stove and then filled in the fondue pot.
- Use the forks to skewer the prepared pieces of food like bread cubes and dip them in the melted cheese.
- Adjust the temperature according to the quantity of cheese and, from time to time, stir the melted cheese to
avoid sticking on the bottom of the fondue pot.

Tips and tricks

- Do not heat empty pans in the appliance and do not leave the pans in the hot appliance after use. This could
damage their coating and residues in the pans could possibly burn in and become difficult to remove.
- In order to save space on the table you can place empty, not needed pans in the parking shelf of the appliance.
- Cut food into bite-sized pieces so they get done quicker.
- Brush meat or firm fish lightly with oil. As an alternative, you can marinate those beforehand.
