DMX Boost 8
Model: device name
UID(A/B): RDM identifiers for both universes
Boot SW: version of the boot software
Firmware: version of the firmware
Default Settings
This menu allows you to reset the device's settings to the default factory settings.
1) Press the encoder to confirm the reset. The following settings will be restored:
Device name
DMX mode: DMX and RDM
Error alarm: OFF
Ports assigned to input A: 1-4
Ports assigned to input B: 2-8
2) Alternatively, press the
Screen saver
The OLED display will automatically turn off when no user input is received for 30 seconds in order to improve the
durability of the product. Once the display is turned off, it can be turned on again by pressing the encoder.
RDM
The device is discoverable via RDM and works as an RDM capable, bidirectional splitter, when the corresponding
universe is configured to the mode "DMX and RDM" (see DMX Mode on page 26). When a different mode is
selected, the RDM capabilities of the splitter are disabled for the respective universe.
