Cleaning
For dishwasher
After every use, follow these directions to clean with dishwasher:
1. Take apart. Separate all bottle parts (especially parts G, H, I and J)
2. Rinse. Rinse bottle parts and any other feeding items by holding them under
running warm water.
3. Wash. Place bottle parts and other feeding items in the dishwasher. If possible, run
the dishwasher using hot water and a heated drying cycle (or sanitizing setting); this
can help kill more germs.
4. Remove from dishwasher. Wash your hands with soap and water before removing
and storing cleaned items.
If items are not completely dry, place them on a clean, unused dish towel or paper towel to
air-dry thoroughly before storing in an area free of dust or dirt. Do not use a dish towel to rub
or pat items dry because doing so may transfer germs to the items.
For cleaning by hand
After every use, follow these directions to clean by hand:
1. Rinse in cool water all separated parts that came in contact with breast and breast
milk in order to remove breast milk residue.
2. Soak all separated parts in warm soapy water for 5 minutes.
3. Clean with a clean dish-cloth or soft brush.
4. Rinse all separated parts with clear water.
5. Allow all parts to air dry in a clean area.
6. Store dry parts when not in use.
Sterilize/sanitize
1. Fill a pot with enough water to cover all parts.
2. Bring water to a boil.
3. Place parts in boiling water for 10 minutes.
4. Allow water to cool and gently remove parts from water with tongs.
5. Allow all parts to air dry in a clean area.

6. Store dry parts when not in use. Do NOT store wet or damp parts.
Other forms of sterilization/sanitization may also be used e.g. microwave, steam or UV.
