Shorting the battery terminals together may cause
burns or a fire.
d) Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected
from the battery; avoid contact. If contact
accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid
contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.

a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair
person using only identical replacement parts.
This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is
maintained.
b) Never service damaged battery packs. Service of
battery packs should only be performed by the
manufacturer or authorized service providers.
Device-specific safety instructions
a) Keep all parts of the body away from the blade.
Do not remove cuttings or hold material to be cut
when blades are moving. The blades continue to
move after the switch is turned off. A moment of
inattention while operating the hedge trimmer may
result in serious personal injury.
b) Carry the hedge trimmer by the handle with the
cutter blade stopped and keeping your fingers
away from the power switch. Carrying the hedge
trimmer correctly reduces the risk of accidental
start-up and resulting injuries caused by the blade.
c) Always pull the cover over the blade when
transporting or storing the hedge trimmer. Proper
handling of the hedge trimmer will reduce possible
personal injury from the cutter blades.
d) Make sure that all power switches are turned off
and the battery pack is removed or disconnected
when removing any jammed cuttings or
performing maintenance work. Unintentional
switching on of the hedge trimmer during the
removal of jammed cuttings or during maintenance
can result in serious injuries.
