b) Check the operation of the lower guard
spring. If the guard and the spring are not
EN
operating properly, they must be serviced
before use.
Lower guard may operate sluggishly due to
damaged parts, gummy deposits, or a build-up
of debris.
c) The lower guard may be retracted manually
only for special cuts such as "plunge cuts"
and "compound cuts". Raise the lower
guard by the retracting handle and as soon
as the blade enters the material, the lower
guard must be released.
For all other sawing, the lower guard should
operate automatically.
d) Always observe that the lower guard is
covering the blade before placing the saw
down on bench or floor.
An unprotected, coasting blade will cause the
saw to walk backwards, cutting whatever is in
its path. Be aware of the time it takes for the
blade to stop after switch is released.
3. Additional Safety Warnings
a) Wear dust mask.
b) Not to use any abrasive wheels ;
c) Use only the saw blade of 230 mm ~ 235 mm.
d) Use only the correct saw blade for the
material to be cut.
e) Use only saw blades that are marked with
a speed equal or higher than the speed
marked on the tool.
f) Use only saw blades recommended by the
manufacturer, which conform to EN 847-1, if
intended for wood and analogous materials ;
g) Avoid over heating the blade tips and,
if cutting plastics is permitted, to avoid
melting the plastic.
h) Use only saw blades recommended by the
manufacturer.

Extension cord can be used for remote power
supply. Use the extension cord with proper length
and thickness for satisfactory electric current. Too
long or thin cord may result in high voltage drop
and weaken motor power. Use the extension cord
as short as possible.
Damaged cord must be displaced or
repaired immediately.
Warning
Use 3-core cable for the extension
cord if there is no earth leakage
breaker.
Warning
3) Work place
Check work place considering cautions. Do not
use the product where there is a fire hazard.
Prevent dust accumulation at the workplace.
Dusts can easily ignite. Dusts from materials such
lead-containing coatings, minerals and metal
can be harmful to one's health. Contact with or
inhaling the dusts can trigger allergic reactions
to the operator or bystanders and/or lead to
respiratory infections. Certain metal dusts are
considered hazardous, especially in conjunction
with alloys such as zinc, aluminium or chromium.
Materials containing asbestos may only be worked
by specialists. Provide for good ventilation of
the working place. It is recommended to wear a
P2 filter-class respirator. Observe the relevant
regulations in your country for the materials to be
worked.
4) Switch
When you plug in the power supply
with the tool switched on, sudden

rotation of tool may result in accident.
Check to see that switch lever returns to its
original position after pulling or pushing it.
