b) Removal of the saw blade
- Press the lock plate and keep it pressed.

- With the wrench, unscrew the clamping bolt
turning in rotation direction
- Tilt back the retracting safety cover and hold
firmly.
- Remove the clamping washer(B) and the saw
blade from the spindle.
2) Mounting the dust hood
( See figure 3 )
a) Fasten the dust hood to the gear cover with the
fastening screw.
b) A vacuum hose with can be connected to the
adapter.
The adapter may not be mounted
when no external dust extraction is
connected. Otherwise the extraction
channel can be become clogged. Do
not connect a dust bag to the adapter.

a) Cutting indicator
Cutting indicator 0 corresponds to the position of
blade for right angle cutting, and 45° for 45°cutting.
This tool is set initially as the scale on the base
being fit to the back side of the blade attached as
delivery.
b) Switching On and Off
( See figure 4 )
To start the machine, first push the lock-off

c) How to Operate
Hold the tool securely and place the base such
that the blade does not touch the work object. Put

on power switch and wait until the tool reaches
full rate. Move forward at a certain moving speed
in desired cutting line. If the blade has run off the
desired cutting line, do not try to return the blade
into the line with force, or reaction and so severe
injury to people may be resulted in. Remove the
tool after releasing the switch and then waiting
until the blade gets to stop. Place the tool in a new
cutting line to restart cutting.
d) Brake function
When the switch is released, the saw blade stops
immediately.

9. Maintenance and Servicing

Disconnect the plug from the power
supply before making maintenance.
Warning
1) Check cutter blade
Use of worn cutter blade may cause damage to
motor and decrease work efficiency. Compensate
or replace with new cutter blade immediately.
Use of extremely dull cutter blade may
cause personal injury due to the kick-
back during cutting operation. Replace
the cutter blade that its cutting perfor-

mance is decreased with new one.
2) Carbon brush
The motor of this tool uses Carbon Brush.
This tool features automatic electric current cutting
(Auto-Stop) operation when the carbon brush is
worn off and do not become confused when the
unit stops. Check that the carbon brush is worn off
and change worn carbon brush along with that at
opposite side with two new ones. Carbon Brush
should be clean and kept free moving inside the
brush holder.
When changing a part, be sure to
purchase and use genuine Brake-only
carbon brush from the agent authorized
by Keyang Electric Machinery. If non
Warning genuine Brake-only carbon brush is
used, the brake may not work intermit-
tently.
● How to Change : Carbon Brush can be taken out
by removing brush cap with a driver.
