10. WARNING: There is a risk of potential injury if used incorrectly.
11. The outer surface of the appliance may become hot during use. Take
extra care to avoid burns.
12. The surface of the heating element contains residual heat after use.
13. Before connecting the plug to the electrical outlet, make sure that the
voltage indicated on the type plate of the appliance corresponds to the
voltage in your power outlet.
14. Plug the power cord into a properly grounded electrical outlet. We
recommend connecting the appliance to a separate electrical circuit. Do
not use extension cables.
15. Place the appliance on a flat, dry and solid surface. Do not place the
appliance near fire or other heat sources.
16. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of the counter or table.
Keep the power cord away from hot plates, gas burners, and other hot
surfaces.
17. Use the appliance only with the supplied power cord.
18. This appliance is intended for food preparation as described in this
manual. Do not use it for purposes other than those for which it is
intended.
19. Use the appliance only with the supplied accessories. The use of
accessories that are not intended for this appliance or are not specified
by the manufacturer as suitable may cause a dangerous situation.
20. Do not place the cooking vessel on a hot plate, gas burner, or near fire or
other heat sources.
21. Only use the appliance with the supplied cooking vessel. Never use the
appliance without the cooking vessel properly inserted.
22. When filling, always observe the maximum and minimum level marks
that are marked on the wall of the cooking vessel.
23. The cooking vessel has a non-stick surface. To avoid damaging it, use only
the spoon provided for mixing or serving. Other tools, especially made of
metal, could damage the non-stick finish.
24. Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, always make sure
that it is correctly assembled and that the lid is fitted correctly.
25. This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external
timer, switch or other device which switches the appliance on and off.
26. Under no circumstances cover the safety valve. Doing so risks irreversible
damage to the appliance and may create a hazardous situation.
27. Keep your hands and face away from the safety valve. Very high
temperature steam escapes through the safety valve and there is a risk of
severe burns.
28. Take extra care when handling an appliance that contains hot food. Wear
protective kitchen gloves.
29. Carefully open the lid of the appliance to avoid scalding from escaping
