- As long as the figures are blinking you can select the desired temperature between 40 °C and 120 °C with
the button + or – . As soon as the figures stop blinking, the warming tray will start working.
- After use, keep the button ON/OFF pressed to switch off the appliance and remove the cookware/serving
dish from the warming tray. If necessary, use heat-resistant gloves and place the cookware/serving dish on
heat-resistant surfaces only.
- Always pull out the power cord and allow the appliance to cool down completely after each use.

Tips and tricks
- Only place the cookware/serving dish carefully on the glass ceramic surface. Do not slide it, instead lift it and
place it in the desired position. Make sure that you do not slide the receptacle when portioning and taking out
the food. This will prevent scratching and potential damage to the surface.
- The best heat transfer is achieved with cookware/serving dishes that have a flat bottom resting entirely on the
surface.
- To keep food warm reliably, heat up the empty serving dish before filling it and cover it with a matching lid.
- Stir the dish as needed to keep it uniformly warm.
- To avoid burned-in food residues and a difficult cleaning, do not leave the empty cookware/serving dish on
the switched-on appliance.
- Remove spills from the glass ceramic surface immediately to avoid burning them onto the surface.

Cleaning

Always pull the power plug out of the socket before each cleaning.

Never immerse the appliance, the plug or the power cable in water or other liquids. Do not clean it
in the dishwasher.

Always let the appliance cool down completely before cleaning it.
- Clean the appliance immediately after each use.
- Wipe the glass ceramic plate with a soft cloth only, slightly moistened if needed. In case of stubborn residues
use a commercially available cleaning agent for glass ceramic surfaces, as well as a suitable cleaning scraper.
