- Only connect the device to a properly installed power socket. Do not use any multiple socket that is already
being used to run other appliances. The plug and power cord must be dry. The protective effect must not be
cancelled by an extension cable without a protective conductor.
- Only operate the device under direct supervision and for the intended purpose, as described in chapter 3.2
Intended use.
Caution!
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8
and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of the reach of children less than 8 years.
- Children are not allowed to play with the appliance.
- Never operate this appliance using an external timer or separate remote control system.
Risk of burns or injury!
Using the warming tray results in high temperatures. Even after use there is residual heat.
- Do not move the appliance as long as it is still hot or cookware/serving dish is placed on top. Do not pull on
the cable to move the device. Lift the appliance and place it on the desired location.
- Pull the power plug after each use and:
- when the device is not under your direct supervision
- in case of faults during operation
- each time you clean the device
Always pull on the plug and not on the cord.

Do not immerse the appliance, the power cord or plug in water or any other liquids and never spray
water directly onto them. Do not clean it in the dishwasher.

If you find a crack or other damage to the glass ceramic surface, pull out the power plug immediately.
Danger!
Never use the appliance if you discover damage, if water has penetrated the housing or if the
appliance has been dropped. If you notice damage during use, unplug it from the power supply
immediately.

Check the power cord for damage before every use. If the power cord is damaged, it must be
replaced immediately. This may only be arranged by the manufacturer, his customer service or a
similarly qualified and authorized specialist.
