L. P.gas heater
with automatic ignitor
and thermostat
for caravans,
all kinds
of vehicles
and weekend
houses
with lifted floors.
Fitting instructions
Notes
The heater must only be installed
expert. In Germany gas units, the positioning of the
bottles and wiring, as well as the official acceptance and
checking for leakage must comply with DVGWworking
notice G 607 for gas systems in vehicles.
If the heater is used in road vehicles, the living quarters
of which are in connection
with the driver's cab, in Ger-
many the requirements
of the STVZO (traffic regu-
lations),
22a, must be complied with.
Any alteration to the heater (including the exhaust duct
and cowl) as well as non-observance of the fitting in-
structions
will invalidate the operating
Usually the heater isfitted into the wardrobe of the cara-
van. Before fitting the heater check whether the floor
hole for the combustion
air intake may be on the right
which is the normal fitting, or whether it must be on the
left below the heater (see template). If left hand fitting is
necessary, see instruction
"change from right hand to
left hand fitting". The intake port of the heater must not
be in the splash zone of the wheels. if necessary, mount
a splash guard.
The exhaust
duct and the cowls must be fitted so that
the exhaust gas cannot enter the interior of the vehicle.
For motor
vehicles
please
observe
instructions:
Surface mountings near the cowl like luggage racks or
similar things disturb the combustion of the heater, par-
ticularly during the drive. For motor vehicles always use
the T-cowl, in case with a cowl extension.
take port for the combustion
air must project below
crossheads
and lateral body sheets. The guarantee
rendered invalid in the case of defects arising from the
non-observance
of these
instructions.
