8. OPERATING THE POWER TOOL
WARN ING!
The permissible temperature range
for operating the power tool is from
-20°C to +40°C.
Power On/Off (Fig. 4)
To turn on the reciprocating saw, press
the power button (1). To turn it off, release
the power button.
The speed of the reciprocating saw blade
is controlled by the force applied to the
power button.

Select the appropriate saw blade
(Fig. 6)
Choose a saw blade based on the materi-
al you will be cutting. Saw blade (1) is for
cutting metal surfaces. Saw blade (2) is
for cutting wood surfaces.
Ensure that the saw blade is sharp and
undamaged.
Install the saw blade and check its secure
attachment in the blade holder by pull-
ing on it.
Performance
WA RN IN G!
Carefully inspect the workpiece for
any foreign objects that are differ-
ent from the material of the work-
piece (such as nails in wood, etc.).
Securely clamp the workpiece using
clamps or a vise if necessary. Ensure that
there are no foreign objects in the cut-
ting area of the workpiece. Turn on the
reciprocating saw and begin the cutting
process by adjusting the speed using the
pressure applied to the power button.
While working, firmly grip the reciprocat-
ing saw with both hands, holding onto
the handle and the gripping surface. Al-
ways ensure that the base plate (1) is firm-
ly pressed against the workpiece (Fig. 7).
WA RN IN G!
When cutting workpieces whose
thickness or diameter exceeds the
length of the saw blade, there is
a risk of the blade getting stuck
in the inner wall of the workpiece,
which can lead to injury. The length
of the saw blade should be at least
30 mm longer than the workpiece
being processed (Fig. 8).
Do not exert excessive force when cut-
ting the workpiece. Excessive pressure
can lead to premature wear of the saw
blade and tool components.
