How do I reset a device?
It is possible to
reconfigure the device irrespective of any existing settings, or if it is impossible
to connect to the device.

For OAP models, unscrew the cap on the interface marked "COM/Reset" on
the underside of the housing. Then, plug the supplied reset connector into the
serial port. The reset connector bridges two contacts to trigger the reset
function.
The reset button offers two basic functions—boot (restart) and reset (to the
factory settings)—which are called by pressing the button for different
lengths of time. With the suitable setting, the behavior of the reset button can
be controlled.

Under certain circumstances, the WEBconfig Setup Wizards cannot be
used to configure all of the device functions. In these cases use
LANconfig for greater convenience and an all-round configuration.
