5. Operation of the dehumidifier

1. Only operate the dehumidifier in upright position.
2. Connect to a Schuko socket (safety socket) with the correct voltage and 16 A fuse
protection.
3. Verify readiness for operation
Read out operating hour counter and document reading as needed
Read out KW/h counter and document reading as needed
Check that the condensate hose is connected to connection adapter (1).
Check, if the condensate hose is damaged
Ensure that the end of the condensate hose is in a drain or condensate
container, and that it cannot slip out during operation.
Make sure that a possibly used condensate container has sufficient capacity.
The BT 450 may dehumidify up to 45 l in 24 h.
Actuate the drain button (3) on the operating panel (2) for several seconds and
verify that a drain (pumping) noise can be heard.

4. Startup
Turn the operating switch (4) on the operating panel (2) from the O position into
the desired operating range (30 - 100 %).
