Keep the machine clean and functioning so
that you can work better and more safely.
Wear appropriate work clothes such as work
gloves, safety helmet, safety glasses or goggles
and long pants made of a strong material.
Stand with stable posture and wear non-slip,
high, closed footwear. Never work with the
machine wearing sandals or with bare feet.
Loose clothing, jewellery and long hair could
be caught in moving parts.
Wear a head covering over long hair.
Do not wear wide clothing or jewellery.
When working, maintain a stable and secure
posture. To prevent stumbling, avoid walking
backwards with the machine. Avoid abnormal
posture.
When working, always keep the machine at an
adequate distance from your body.
Always turn the machine off, wait for the motor
to stop and unplug the cord during work breaks
and when changing location.
Never leave the machine unattended at the
workplace. Store the machine during work
breaks in a safe location.
When changing work locations, always turn the
machine off.
Do not distract someone who is working with
the machine.

The operator is liable for damage and accidents.

Protect the machine from rain and moisture.
Work with the machine only in daylight or in
good artificial lighting.
Do not use any machine if the on/off switch is
faulty. A power tool with a non-functioning on/
off switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
Always turn the machine on before contact
with any materials.
The mains voltage must correspond with the
information on the type plate of the machine.
Do not carry the machine by the power cord.
Pull the cord out only by its plug. Protect the
cord from oil, heat and sharp edges. Damaged
cords could cause an electric shock.
Before beginning work, check the machine
and power cord for damages.
Make sure that the machine is turned off before
plugging the cord in.
Use only approved extension cords when
working outside. If using a cable reel, unwind
the cord completely to avoid the cord being
heated.
