5. ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

• Cables must be connected by a professional.
• Technical data of the controlled pump must match the technical data of the con-
troller.
• Work on the cables may only be performed with the power supply switched off.
• Make sure that the cables are connected correctly and check the mains voltage
before connecting the power supply.
• Do not perform inverter breakdown tests.
• Make sure that the earthing terminal is connected.
• Front display panel must be installed before the power supply is switched on.
• Cable glands at the controller and at the pump must be properly tightened to
ensure IP 55 protection.
• The cables must be in good technical condition. The controller must not be used
if cable insulation is cracked or cut.
• The controller power supply must be routed through a residual current device
(RCD) with rated operating current no higher than 30mA.
• Absence of reliable grounding and failure to connect the residual current device
correctly can lead to danger to life, health, damage to property or damage to the
controller.
• The controller and the pump must be installed in a dry and ventilated place. Those
devices must be prevented from being flooded with water. Outdoor installation
with exposure to rain, snow or possible pipe leakage prevents the controller from
being used.

Cable connection

The controller is supplied with a single-phase power cable terminated with a grounded plug,
and with a cable to connect the controller to the pump.
For the one-phase controller, the pump power supply cable has three wires:
