WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD!
The appliance must not be connected to the mains power supply during cleaning. Before
cleaning, switch off the appliance, remove the mains plug and switch off or unscrew the
fuse. Do not spray the appliance with a jet of water.

EXPLOSION HAZARD!
Do not use solvents! These agents can damage appliance parts, develop toxic vapours
and are explosive.
1. Allow the appliance to cool down. Only clean the housing and operating parts with
lukewarm soapy water or a commercially available, solvent-free cleaning agent.
2. Clean the inside and outside of the appliance with a cloth after each use.
3. After cleaning, leave the appliance door open to prevent unpleasant odours.
CAUTION
Only clean with lukewarm water and do not use hard or sharp-edged objects or abrasive
cleaners.
Cleaning the fluff filter
1. Allow the appliance to cool down.
2. Open the appliance door.
3. Pull the fluff filter upwards and remove it.
4. Clean the fluff filter. Wipe off the accumulated threads or rinse the filter with
water.
5. Dry the filter thoroughly.
6. Replace the fluff filter in its intended position in the appliance door.
The fluff accumulated on the filter blocks the air circulation and

Never operate the appliance without a fluff filter!
Reasons for overheating
1. The fluff filter is blocked. Clean the fluff filter after every drying process.
2. Ventilation openings on the back of the appliance are blocked. Observe the
specified clearances (see chapter Setting up the appliance).
3. The installation room is poorly ventilated. Ventilate the installation room during
the drying process.
4. Light items of laundry, e.g. a handkerchief, are sucked in by the filter. Place the
laundry item back in the drum.
Cleaning and maintenance
causes the drying time to be extended and increases energy
consumption.
