1) Assemble the bore-tapping device complete with CLICK screw-
on piece (variant 1 or 2, alternatively variant 3) with a drill, max.
diameter 32 mm.
2) Fix the drill in the initial position. The drill must not protrude from
the CLICK screw-on piece. Turn the vRC lock ring fully back
(away from the tube).
3) Introduce the bore-tapping device into the bayonet sleeve of the
bore-tapping bridge and turn it clockwise as far as it will go
(approx. 90°).
4) Secure the bore-tapping device with the vRC lock ring to the
bore-tapping bridge.
5) Tap the bore. After tapping the bore, flush it sufficiently (not
required if the tapping bore is without pressure)
6) Withdraw the drill and close the flushing tap.
7) Insert the vRC auxiliary shut-off as far as it will go into the bore-
tapping bridge.
8) Open the flushing tap and test the leak-tightness of the auxiliary
shut-off.
9) Release the vRC lock ring anti-clockwise.
10) Turn the bore-tapping device anti-clockwise and release the
locking mechanism of the vRC anti-twist lock (PULL)
11) Pull the bore-tapping device out of the bayonet sleeve.
12) Remove the chips in the bore-tapping bridge, leaving no residue.
If a core drill was used, check that the core of the core drill is
plugged in the core drill.
13) Connect the slide gate valve or fitting to the bore-tapping bridge.
