To turn on the radio, turn the knob on the top of the radio clockwise. The
screen will light up. Continue turning the knob in both directions until
you reach the desired volume level. To turn off the radio, turn the knob
counterclockwise until you hear a click.
Emission and Reception
Press the PTT side key to transmit. Hold the radio at a distance
of 5-7 cm from your mouth and speak in a normal tone of voice.
Release the key to receive.
Reset
Turn on the radio by turning the knob on the top of the radio. In the
first 5 seconds after starting, press simultaneously the multifunction
key 1 and the multifunction key 2. The green LED indicator lights up to
indicate that the settings have returned to the factory values. Then, the
radio will shut down and restart automatically.
MENU
• Briefly press the MENU key to enter the menu.
• Press the Up and Down keys to navigate through the submenus.
• Press the MENU key to enter the desired submenu.
• Press the Up and Down keys to navigate through the options.
• Press the MENU key to confirm the selection or press the EXIT key
to return to the main menu.
• Press the EXIT key to exit the menu.
