1�9 Scope of delivery
The delivery contains one of the following signal generators:

1�10 Storage
When storing for a prolonged time the following steps are to be taken to avoid damaging
influences: Protection by dry, air- dustproof packing (plastic bags with drying agent and
moisture indicators). The storage place must be waterproof, vibration-free and free of
temperature variations. Damages due to improper transportation, storage or commissio-
ning are verifiable and not liable for warranty.

The unit must be fully isolated from the mains power supply before all maintenan-
ce and installation work and opening the terminal compartment!

All work on/in the unit may only be carried out by qualified personnel in accordan-
ce with chapter „1�8 Personnel qualification", page 2�

The possibility exists that rapid flashing lights, under certain circumstances,
might induce photosensitive epilepsy�
The electrical assembly is carried out using the clearly labeled terminal block and the base
options for the cable entry of surface-mounted and flush-mounted connection cables.
Assembly of signal generator BL, BLH, WH:
In this respect, observe the respective wiring diagram (see „3�1 Electrical connec-
tion", page 5)!
1. Determine position of signal generator on wall or ceiling.
2. Mark drill holes on wall and drill holes (Fig.4).
3. If necessary, attach the terminal strip to the base, connect alarm unit to the base via
cable (Fig. 7).
4. If necessary, drill out cable entry in base (Fig.5) and screw base down. Attach cable
gland to base (Fig.5/Fig.7).
5. Then connect the control cable to the terminal block.
The connection of the alarm unit to the base is carried out using a sealed bayonet lock,
incl. locking screw for special protection against vandalism and theft.
