LOGICS
- PROGRAMMING: The A44ME unit has two dip-switches boards (SWI-SW2): they program the whole
system
By setting the dip-switches you can select the operating mode,opening/closing time, pause time and dia-
gnostic.
- OPERATING LOGICS. WiththeA44ME contrdunityoucanchooseamongthefollowing
M.P.: ' •set up"; SA: "Semi-automatic"; A: "automatic"; W: "super automatic".
• "MP" LOGIC:"set up". The "set up" logicworksonlyat "opening": pushingthebutton,theopenrelay
turns on; releasing the button, the relay turns off.
This logic is used during installation, to select the correct direction of rotation of the motor.
"SA" LOGIC: " semi-automatic".Using eitheroneimpulse or theradiocontrol, y ougetthefollowing:
thefirst impulse opensthegate;thesecond impulse stopsthegate;thethirdimpulse closes, g ivingno
warning.
If the impulse is sent during closing, the movement is reversed.
If the impulse is sent when the gate is open, the gate closes.
A LOGIC:
When an "open" signal is sent. the gate opens until it reachesthe limit switch,
Stays open for the pre-selected time, then closes automatically.
Any impulsesent duringthe openingtime sets the pausingtimeto zero(the count startsagain).
If the impulseis sent duringclosing,the gate reversesandopensagain.
- "W" LOGIC:' •super-automatic".The 'W" logicis almostidentical t o the"A" logic.withtheonlydiffe-
rencethat,if theimpulse sentduringopening, t hegatereverses i mrnediately ( without c ompleting itsopening
cycle).
If the impulseis sent duringthe pausetime.the gateclosesimmediately.
- HOWTHE A44MECONTROLUNITWORKSYOpen" b utton.Ifthesystem is on,andshort-circuit occurs
eitherinthe"open" buttonor in theradioreceiver, theunitcommands a fullcycle(openingclosing) thenlocks.
Thisoccursin all 4 logicsofoperation, i n orderto guarantee thatthegatestaysshutevenin caseof power
failure.
"Stop" button: The stop buttonworkswith a normallyclosedcontact(asper UN18612).
It stops the gate movement in any phase of operation.
If anothersigna)is sentafter theSTOPbuttonhasbeenpressed,you geta 3 secondswarning(flashing
warning light) then the gate closes.
- Electric lock: Theterminalboardot theA44MEhasa 12Va.c. outputfor operatingan electriclockwith
ISW max. power.
• Commandfor motors: TheA44MEunit cancommandtwo motorswith a single relay for each motor.
Therefore,whenyou connectonly one motor,automaticallyonly one startingcondenseris connected.
