- do not lubricate the balancer with flammable or volatile fluids;

Drum spring breakage
The balancer is fitted with a safety device that trips if the drum spring should break; it blocks operation, preventing the load hung
from falling.
If the hanging tool cannot be lifted or lowered through ordinary strain,
DO NOT INTERVENE BUT CONTACT THE AFTER-SALES ASSISTANCE SERVICE.
NOTE: the balancer stops even if the drum spring is fully discharged. To restore operating conditions, try to load the spring as outlined
in the "Balancer adjustment" paragraph. If the balancer does not release

Cleaning is carried out in order to remove dirt, meat and fat particles from the balancer.
For hygienic reasons, the balancer must be thoroughly cleaned at least daily after each shift, and in between in case of heavy soiling.
All surfaces must be visually clean after cleaning.
Thorough cleaning is a prerequisite for the subsequent disinfection to be effective.
Always take note of the safety instructions in the product data sheets issued for the relevant detergents or disinfectants.

- The balancer may only be maintained, repaired and cleaned by qualified personnel.
Highly irritant or corrosive detergents and disinfectants.

- Only use detergents and disinfectants approved for the food industry.
- Store detergents and disinfectants separately or in a special room.
Make absolute sure those detergents and disinfectants do not come in contact with food.
- Only use cloths, brushes or other devices which are only used for cleaning and disinfection.
Damage due to high water pressure.
High water pressures will cause damage Balancer parts.
- Do not use high-pressure cleaners.

Maintenance may be carried out only by skilled and authorized personnel.
Use original TECNA S.p.A. spare parts only. When requesting spare parts, the Customer should kindly contact the supplier of the
balancer or the manufacturer directly, specifying the equipment's identification data printed on the plate.
Do not make any modification to the rope group and, specifically, DO NOT SHORTEN the rope: if needed, please get in touch with
the supplier or the manufacturer directly.
