g) Data transfer between two DMX controllers

The DMX controller data can be transferred directly to another DMX controller of the same build via a
DMX connection. If you have several of these DMX controllers and want to use the same settings and
programmes on all devices, they only need to be programmed once.
Data transfer is only possible between devices of the same build.
• Switch off both devices.
• Connect the DMX OUT port (23) of the programmed device to the DMX IN port (24) of the unprogrammed
device.
• Press and hold the SCANNERS 2 and 3 buttons (1) and the SCENES 1 (2) button at the programmed device
and switch on the device.
• The display (6) shows TRANSMIT.
• Press and hold the SCANNERS 8 and 9 buttons (1) and the SCENES 2 (2) button at the unprogrammed
device and switch on the device.
• The display (6) shows RECEIVE.
• Push and hold the SCENES 7 and 8 (2) buttons at the programmed device to start data transfer.
• After completion of data transfer, both DMX controllers are back in manual mode.
h) MIDI control
The DMX controller can alternatively also be controlled by a connected external MIDI device. The control
is effected through MIDI notes.
MIDI control only works when the effect light device is not in automatic or sound to light opera-
tion.
• Press and hold the MIDI/REC button (5) until MIDI xx appears in the display (6).
• Select the desired MIDI channel 01-20 with the BANK buttons (9). This is the MIDI channel on which the
effect light device receives the MIDI notes.
• Push and hold the MIDI/REC (5) button until MIDI xx goes out in the display (6) to save the MIDI settings.
