Accepting a complete bank into a chaser
If you want to transfer a complete programme (bank) into a chaser, you do not have to programme each
scene anew in the chaser. You may proceed as follows and copy a complete bank that was previously
saved into the chaser.
• Select the desired programme with the BANK buttons (9) when saving the chaser (as described above)
instead of a scene.
• Press the MUSIC/BANK COPY button (4).
• Press the MIDI/REC button (5) to save this scene sequence.
• Press and hold the PROGRAM/PAUSE button (3) to save the chaser.
• The DMX controller is now in blackout mode again.
Chaser playback
• Press the AUTO/DEL button (7) so that the AUTO LED lights up.
• Select the desired chaser with the CHASE 1-6 buttons (12).
• You can also play several chasers in sequence. For this, push all buttons CHASE 1-6 (12) to be played.
• The chaser is played.
• Set the chaser speed with the SPEED fader (17).
• Set the cross-fading speed with the SPEED fader (16).
SPEED = Time during which the chaser remains in one step (then it will jump to the next step).
FADE TIME = Time during which the chaser switches from one step to the next (duration of the
transfer from one step to the next step).
In practice, it has proven helpful to first set the fader SPEED (17) and then achieve a flowing
transfer with the fader FADE TIME (16).
If FADE TIME is higher than the SPEED-setting, the light effect cannot move to the programmed
end positions anymore.
• The chaser speed SPEED can also be set through the TAP DISPLAY (10) button. Press it twice. The inter-
val between the two times corresponds to the chaser speed SPEED.
Checking a chaser
• Press and hold the PROGRAM/PAUSE button (3) until the respective LED flashes.
• Push the button BLACKOUT (11), to deactivate the blackout mode and visually check the chaser scene.
• Select the desired chaser with the CHASE 1-6 buttons (12).
• Press the TAP DISPLAY button (10) to activate single step playback.
• Press the BANK buttons (9) to call the different steps in sequence.
