Example:
The movement of a moving head is controlled with the DMX channels 1 and 2 (this is evident from the
instructions of the moving head).
The DMX channel 1 of the moving head is to be assigned to the channel X (PAN-controller of the joy-
stick (13)) and the DMX channel 2 of the moving head to channel Y (TILT controller of the joystick (13)).
• Press the FINE (15) and MODE (14) buttons at once twice until the ASSIGN LED below the display (6)
lights up.
• Select the moving head with the respective SCANNERS (1) button.
• Use the FADE TIME (16) fader to select set the channel X of the DMX controller (=PAN controller of the
joystick (13)).
• Use the SPEED fader (17) to select the DMX channel 1 of the moving head.
• Push the button MIDI/REC (5) to save the settings.
• Use the FADE TIME (16) fader to select set the channel Y of the DMX controller (=TILT controller of the
joystick (13)).
• Use the SPEED fader (17) to select the DMX channel 2 of the moving head.
• Push the button MIDI/REC (5) to save the settings.
• Briefly push the FINE (15) and MODE (14) buttons at the same time. All LEDs will light up briefly, and the
setting is saved.
Once you have now assigned the DMX channels 1 and 2 of your moving head to joystick (13) as
described above, you can also assign the other channels to the channels of the DMX controller
as described above (e.g. DMX channel 3 can be assigned to channel fader 1, DMX channel 4 to
channel fader 2, etc.).
Fade Time Assignment
This function is used to determine if the Fade Time setting affects only the PAN/TILT motion or all DMX
channels.
This may be used, e.g. when the PAN and TILT motion of a scanner or moving head should be
slow, but the gobo and colour change should be quick to react.
• Turn off the device with the POWER switch (26).
• Hold down the MODE (14) and TAP DISPLAY (10) buttons at once and switch the light control device back
on. Hold down the MODE (14) and TAP DISPLAY (10) buttons until the display switches.
• Press the TAP DISPLAY button (10) to switch between the two operating functions.

• Keep the button MODE (14) pushed and then push the button TAP DISPLAY (10) to save this setting. All
LEDs will light up briefly, and the setting is saved.
