CONNECTION OF HIGH PRESSURE HOSES
1.
Assemble the high pressure hoses, lance and accessories in the
required configuration.
2.
Attach a nozzle to the end of the lance extension.
3.
Connect the free end of the high-pressure hose to the pump
outlet connector. Some models may provide a threaded/screw
collar or "quick connect" fitting.
4.
Make sure the threaded types are firmly tightened.
ATTENTION: Use only the high pressure hoses and accessories supplied with
the unit. Make sure all hoses and accessories are properly installed and
secure.
REFUELING
Refuel and close the fuel tank with the fuel cap.
CONNECTING THE WATER SUPPLY (EXTERNAL) TO THE
PUMP:
1.
Connect a standard garden hose to the water supply and
pump inlet connector. Make sure the connections are secure.
2.
Turn on the water supply.
3.
Pull the trigger on the spear. When a steady stream of water
flows from the nozzle, the machine is ready for use.
ATTENTION: The machine must be connected to a water supply that can
supply enough water for pumping. Most domestic applications will use
a standard garden hose connected to the mains water supply. For those
cases where there is no mains or gravity fed water supply, the machine
can draw water from a suitable reservoir using the supplied inlet hose
and filter.
ARRANQUE
Place the pressure washer on a level surface.
Turn on the water. Bleed air from the pump by
releasing the latch and squeezing the spray gun
trigger. Turn the fuel valve to the ON position.
Slide the choke lever to the "choke" position.
Turn the engine ON/OFF switch to the "ON"
position. Start the engine with the starter
cable. Squeeze the gun trigger and release the
pressure after each unsuccessful attempt to
start the pressure washer. Let the engine run
for several seconds and then gradually slide the
choke lever to the RUN position.
WARNING
•
If the inlet screen is missing or damaged, do not use the high-pressure cleaner.
Particles in the high-pressure jet may cause injury. The maximum water inlet
pressure should not exceed 0.5 MPA.
•
The length of the free garden hose must be at least 3 m between the inlet of the
high-pressure cleaner and a shut-off device, e.g. a Y coupling or other suitable
shut-off valve. The garden hose should not be longer than 15 m. Always check
that the hose is tight.
•
Do not use the high pressure cleaner without water supply. If you use the
high pressure cleaner without water, it will be damaged. Before connecting
the garden hose (NOT included in the scope of delivery) to the water inlet
(29), check the inlet strainer (40). Clean the contaminated inlet screen and if
necessary replace the damaged inlet screen. To remove all impurities, run water
through the garden hose for 30 seconds. Important: Do not suck stagnant water
into the water supply. Only use water at temperatures below 40°C (104°F) as it
may damage the pump.
•
Using hot water in the machine may void the product warranty. Turn off the
water and place the hose connection adapter (38) into the water inlet (29).
