Adjusting drawbar to tractor towing coupler

To allowpick-up to work perfectly, the height (H) of coupled trailer must be cor-
rectly set (pick-up pivoting area)

Height (M) = 350 mm

Note: Where the floor is uneven, reduce the measurement by 1 cm (M = 340
mm).

Setting of pick-up pivoting area

- Park unloaded trailer on even ground and on jockey wheel.
- Set height (M) from ground to centre coupling point of feeler by adjusting jockey
wheel.
- Adjust tractor trailer coupler (A) to the height of trailer coupling ring.
Minor Adjustments to drawbar are carried out by unscrewing, moving then re-
screwing the trailer coupling ring.
With greater height differences the drawbar can be adjusted according to the
drawing (see drawbar bolting diagram)
Before changing drawbar position, secure the trailer by applying
brakes and block wedges.
Left and right side of press frame must be jacked up at coupling point of fee-
ler.
