6. Adjustment of the limit positions
Only usea suitable4-wired switch/settingcablewith switchfor up and downfunction.
Important! - Performa trial runof the motor,withoutthe shutter panelbeing mounted.Makesure that the motormoves in the desired
rotation direction.
If the directionof rotationof the motordoes not correspondto the requireddirectionof rotation,the connectionsof the blackand brownwires on the
switch/ setting cablemust be switched.
Toshortenthe work for settingthe lowerlimit position,beforemountingthe rollershutter the motorcan be movedas far towards"Down"until it shuts
down.The exactlowerlimit positionmust later only beadjustedslightly (see below).
6.1 Installation
of the roller
shutter
Mountthe rollershutterproperlywith fixing springs(not includedin the scope of supply)on the winding shaft Insertthe backup/ fixing springsinto the
topmostslatsof the rollershutterand securethe springsin the rectangularholesof the windingshaft,
• for backup/ fixing springs,item no. HR144160and HR144200the maximumdistancebetweenthe connectorsis 40 cm,
• for rigidshaft connectors,itemno. HR130002and HR130003the maximumdistancebetweenthe connectorsis 80 cm,
in order to ensure an even distribution
Important! • The topmostrod of the hangingshould not protrudecompletelybeyondthe inlet funnel.
Attention!
- Never utilize drills/screws
Pleaseonly connectthe hangingand the windingshaft with suitableshaft connectors.Drills/ screwscandamagethe motor.If the
motoror any part of the motoris damaged,it must not be put intooperation.Consequential d amagesdue to non-compliance cannot be
excluded.
Important! • The limit setting onlyworks, if the motoris fully installedin the winding shaft
The limitsfor both directionsare set with assistanceof 2 adjustingscrews(see illustrationbelow).Pleaseuse the settingtool, includedin the scopeof
supply.
Important! • Payattentionto the instructionson the motors head!The arrowsymbols(straightand bent +1-)are assignedto the adjustmentscrew
located next to them
•Appliesequallyfor left and right installationof the motor:The lower limit is set with the setting
screw whichis locatednext to the upwardspointingarrow.The upperlimit is set with the
setting screwwhichis locatednextto the downwardspointingarrow.
• If you turn the settingscrew intothe + (plus)direction,the path getsenlarged.Turningthe
setting screwin the - (minus)direction,the path gets reduced.
• The rotationdirectionmayvary dependingon type and model.
6.2Adjustment of the upper and lower limit position of motor type ER
Upper limit position
Movethe hangingtowardsthe upperlimit position.Turnadjustmentscrewcarefullywith the limit settingtool towardsthe minus(-) directionuntil the
motorstops. Keepthe switch on upwardsmovementand turn the adjustingscrewin the plus (+) directionuntil you reachedyour desiredlimit position.
Important! • Temperature fluctationscan havean effect on the rollershutters.Thereforeplease leave2-3 cm room on the top when
settingthe upperlimit.
Lower limit position (readjustment)
Movethe hangingtowardsthe lowerlimit position.Turnadjustmentscrewcarefullywith the limit settingtool towardsthe minus(-) directionuntil the
motorstops. Keepthe switch on downwardmovementand turn the adjustingscrew in the plus (+) directionuntil you reachedyour desiredlimit position.
7. Test run I Adjusting limit positions
Pleasestart a test runof the rollershutter in both directions,ensuringthat the motorstopsat the previouslyset limits.
Thermal overload protection! The motorsare designedfor intermittentoperation(approx.4 minutes,see technicaldata)
of the tensile forces
to fix the roller shutter near the motor.
