Intended use

CAUTION:
Risk of injury – Make sure the patient can be lifted with slings.
The slings are used for the Vermeiren "Eagle" patient hoist (passive patient hoist) and is
intended for people with walking difficulties or no walking abilities.
The sling is designed to transport 1 person and not to be used for persons younger than 12
years and for persons with delicate bones.
The slings allow full use by persons disabled by:
paralysis
•
loss of limbs (leg amputation)
•
limb defects or deformations
•
cachexia
•
atrophy
•
and also for aged persons.

When providing for individual requirements:
body size and weight (max. 200kg (440.9 lb.))
•
physical and psychological condition
•
environment
•
should be taken into consideration.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage caused by the lack of or improper service or as a
result of not following instructions in this manual.
Read the manual of the patient hoist "Eagle" before using the slings. It is very important to
understand the content of the manual "Eagle" very well.
Compliance with the user and maintenance instructions are an essential part of the
guarantee conditions.

Delivery

The Vermeiren slings shall be delivered with:
