18 Remote control

You need 2 AAA batteries for the remote control (not included in
the delivery content). Frequency range: 2.403 – 2.480 GHz;
transmission range: ≥15 m; transmission power: max. 13 dBm

(1) You can only use the remote control when the camera is on. You can only switch off the camera with the remote
control, not switch it on.
(2) Point the remote control straight towards the camera located no more than 8 metres away to ensure proper recep-
tion of the infrared signal by the camera.

19 Front light

When ambient light is too low for recording, switch on the camera and press the "OK" button to activate the front light
function. Now that the front light is on, the camera can capture videos and photos perfectly. Press the "OK" button
again to switch the front light off.
Note:
This function shortens the camera's battery life!

20 Microphone input

You can connect an external microphone to the camera using the MIC interface on the camera's underside. You can
thus improve the audio quality of your video recordings.

21 HD output

You can connect the video camera to your HD TV to view your footage. You just need to connect the camera to the
HD interface using the included Mini HDMI cable to the corresponding interfaces on your TV. Stop recording a video
before connecting, and stop playing videos on your TV before disconnecting. Choose the appropriate source on your
TV to view your footage.
