Insert the 3 batteries (AAA, LR03, AM4) into the battery compart-
ment at the correct polarity, noting the markings in the battery com-
partment.
After inserting batteries into the battery compartment replace the
battery compartment lid and tighten the screw.
Recommendation:
Remove weak batteries immediately to avoid leakage and resultant
damage. Only use batteries of the prescribed type.
Use alkaline batteries to achieve a battery service life which is as
long as possible.
Instruction for environmental protection:
The law (the provision on exhausted batteries)
obliges the end user to return all used batteries and
accumulators (from button cells to lead accumula-
tors); any disposal thereof via the domestic waste is
prohibited.
You may return your exhausted batteries and accu-
mulators on a free-of-charge basis to both our
branch companies and our central company based
at Hirschau and the municipal disposal facilities
(waste collection yards) which are also obliged to
accept them as before.
Do make your contribution to environmental pro-
tection.
Do not leave batteries littered in the vicinity of children, but keep
them at a place inaccessible to children. Children might swallow
them. There is a danger to life if batteries, button cells, accumula-
tors are swallowed. In such a case, call for immediate medical care
by a doctor or hospital. Do not short-circuit batteries. Do not throw
them into fire or charge them because they might explode.
