Assembly
The safety-tested knurled thumbscrews with self-locking nut make assembly – without
tools and any energy involved – as easy as child's play!
A special advantage is that the screws are provided with a child lock and consequently
cannot be swallowed!
CAUTION: Safety tips:
WARNING – the baby hammock should no longer be used when the child is able to sit
•
up without support.
Do not use for children who are too heavy or too big for the hammock!
•
Please note: this child's reclining seat is not a substitute for a cradle or bed. If your child
•
wants to sleep, he or she should be put in a suitable cradle or bed.
Never leave the child unattended!
•
It is dangerous to leave your child in the hammock in the care of another child!
•
Do not lay your child on its tummy in the hammock!
•
WARNING – always make use of the back support system.
•
Never place more than one child in the baby hammock!
•
WARNING – the baby hammock is not a swing!
•
Pets, especially cats, dogs and large birds, have to be kept away from the hammock during
•
use. The movement of the hammock may attract pets and entice them to play, which might
cause the hammock to get out of balance or cause injury to the child.
Keep loose fastening cords which are not attached to the frame away from small children.
•
• When not assembled, the stand has small parts that could be swallowed by children.
• Please take care to dress your child adequately for the ambient temperature. A hammock
does not warm the child! If you want to protect your child against cold rising from below,
we recommend our matching Sunny lined inlay!
Choose fastening points and locations for the frames in such a way that no hard, sharp or
•
pointed edges are to be found within a circumference of 1 metre around the hanging
chair / hammock or beneath the reclining or sitting surface.
The article must not be used in the vicinity of open fires.
•
WARNING – always make sure there is sufficient clearance.
•
WARNING! It is dangerous to place this product on a raised surface (like a table for
•
instance).
Only set up on a level surface, and not in the vicinity of stairs.
•
Do not use the hammock near flames and other powerful sources of heat such as
•
electric radiators, gas heaters, camping cookers, open fireplaces, etc.!
The ground on which the hammock stand is situated must be flat, even and solid; under
•
weight, all four rubber feet of the stand must be firmly on the ground to prevent the stand
from tipping over. Never put up the stand on inclined surfaces, on couches, (water)beds
or soft cushions or pillows!
Do not move the baby hammock with the child lying in it, neither by carrying it nor by
•
sliding it over the floor using coasters or cart.
Do not use on vehicles in motion; in particular, not on vehicles that are fit for use on
•
water or in the air.
