(see page 1)
(1)
Fuse
The fuse is located below the mains supply jack. The
AVM•1 must be disconnected from the mains before the
fuse is replaced. Only the following fuse should be used
at a mains voltage of 230V:
1 A T (5x20mm)
(2)
Mains supply jack
For connecting the IEC mains cable supplied with the unit.
(3)
Remote mute jack
The AVM•1 can be muted via this switching contact.
If GND and TIP are connected to the jack, the acoustic
signal is switched off.
Function:
GND - TIP connected:
GND - TIP separated :
(4)
Ground / lift switch
When this switch is in the GND position, the signal gro-
und is earthed.
When this switch is in the LIFT position, the signal ground
is separated from the housing ground. When this switch is
in the LIFT position, humming noises (e.g. when stacking)
can be avoided.
(5)
Output ch1 XLR
The symmetrical output signal from channel 1 is available
from this jack.
Configuration:
1
Signal ground
2
Signal +
3
Signal -
(6)
Output ch1 2 x cinch
The asymmetric output signal from channel 1 is available
from these two cinch jacks.
(7)
Input ch1 2 x cinch
The asymmetric input signal from channel 1 is available
from these two cinch jacks. A mono signal is formed inter-
nally from both of these jacks.
(8)
Input ch1 XLR
The input signal from channel 1 is available from this
jack.
The jack is electronically balanced.

Output ch2 XLR
The symmetric output signal from channel 2 is available
from this jack.
Configuration:
1

(10)
Output ch2 2 x Cinch
The asymmetric output signal from channel 2 is available
from these two cinch jacks.
(11)
Input ch2 2 x cinch
The asymmetric input signal from channel 2 is available
from these two cinch jacks. A mono signal is formed inter-
nally from both of these jacks.
(12)
input ch2 XLR
The input signal from channel 2 is available from this jack.
The jack is electronically balanced.
Configuration:
1
Signal ground

(13)
Measuring microphone input
The measuring microphone supplied is connected to this
jack. The AVM•1 is calibrated to the C-1 microphone.
Using a different microphone may lead to malfunctions. A
phantom voltage is output from the jack. Unsuitable micro-
phones could therefore be damaged.
(14)
Volume ch1 / ch2
(15)
The volume of both channels can be set independently
from one another using this volume knob.
Signal ch1 / ch2
(16)
(17)
Both LEDs light up green if a signal is available on the res-
pective channel.
(18)
Remote mute LED
This LED lights up red when the AVM•1 is muted via jack
(3).
