Handling
Never plug the power plug into a power socket immediately after the unit has been
brought from a cold room into a warm room. The condensation thus produced can
sometimes damage the unit.
Leave the unit unplugged and allow it to reach room temperature. Wait until the
condensation has evaporated.
Never insert or withdraw the power plug with wet hands.
Never withdraw the power plug from the socket by pulling on the lead. Withdraw it
from the power socket only by using the grips provided on the plug.
Withdraw the power plug from the power socket if the unit is not used for a long period.
Ensure the unit is adequately ventilated during operation. Always remove both rack
covers during operation if the unit is rack mounted!
For safety reasons, always withdraw the power plug from the power socket during a
thunderstorm.
Music should not be listened to at excessive volume for a long period. This can
damage your hearing.
Maintenance
Regularly check the technical safety of the signal processor, e.g. check for damage
to the power lead and housing.
If it is to be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the unit is to be taken
out of service and secured against inadvertent operation. Withdraw the power plug
from the socket!
It is to be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible if the following conditi-
ons apply

En cas de montage en rack avec d'autres appareils, s'assurer
qu'une ventilation suffisante de tous les composants est garantie
afin d'éviter tout risque de défaillance par surchauffe.
Le processeur de signaux doit uniquement être utilisé sur un sup-
port stable, insensible à la chaleur et horizontal. Cette condition
est impérative pour garantir une bonne circulation de l'air.
Le non-respect de ces indications peut provoquer l'endommage-
ment de l'appareil.
Raccordement des entrées et sorties
Le processeur de signaux ESP-200 est équipé de prises XLR et de prises jack 6,3
mm symétriques.
Pour le raccordement des entrées, utiliser exclusivement des
câbles pour prises XLR ou jack blindés adéquats. L'utilisation
d'autres types de câbles peut provoquer des dérangements.
Afin d'éviter tout risque de distorsions ou d'erreurs d'adaptation
susceptibles d'endommager l'appareil, il ne faut raccorder aux
prises XLR ou jack que des appareils dotés des mêmes raccorde-
ments.
A ce sujet, tenir également compte des valeurs de raccordement
figurant dans les "Caractéristiques techniques".
Le brochage des connecteurs est indiqué sur le schéma suivant :

Raccorder les sorties de la
source
audio (p. ex. pupitre de mixage) avec les
entrées INPUT (13) du processeur de
signaux.
Raccorder les entrées de l'appareil
audio aval (p. ex. étage de sortie) avec
les sorties OUTPUT (12) du processeur
de signaux.
Douille XLR
Il est possible de raccorder indifférem-
ment des signaux stéréo ou 2 différents
signaux mono.
