AVAILABLE ACCESSORIES
For your safety, and to ensure efficient operation, use only original
accessories. These can be obtained from your dealer.
INTENDED USE
The tool is intended for cutting bevels on straight and curved steel
edges made of tool and structural steels.
This tool is not intended for wet milling. Using water or other
coolants with this tool can cause an electric shock.
!
WARNING! Prevent any non-permitted use of the tool and
that can cause damage to the system or injure persons or
operators. Tool's constructor assumes no responsibility
for the correct operation or service life of the tool in case
it was subject to alterations that the manufacturer had not
approved or allowed in writing.
PREPARING THE TOOL FOR
WORK
Always disconnect the plug from power source before
making any adjustments or changing any accessory!
Attaching the auxiliary handle, Figure
Position the delivered side handle (according to the manner of
work).
Adjusting the cutting depth, Figure
• Loosen the screw and the nut
• Rotating the plate and nut clockwise you can increase
the depth of cut to max. 6mm/30° (3,5/45°), rotating it in the
opposite direction, you can decrease the depth of cut to min.
0 mm.
Set the guide plate to the desired position for the depth of
cutting bevels on edges.
• Tighten the nut and the screw in order to protect the
guide plate from being loosened.
Guide plate and nut must be tightened correspondingly in
order not to become loose during use, which would cause
vibration and uneven bevels.
Mounting/Removing cutting plates, Figure
• Loosen the screw
• Loose and remove the guide plate
• Press and hold the lock-off button
• Loosen the two cutting plate screws
• Replace worn out cutting plates with new ones
• Press and hold the lock-off button
• Tighten back the two cutting plate screws
• Set the bevel depth according to your requirements, and tighten
the nut and the screw in order to protect the guide plate
from being loosened.
!
Before using the tool, check that the spindle rotates freely.
OPERATION
Read the enclosed safety instructions before you start
working with the tool in order to prevent accidents at
work with the tool.
Observe correct mains voltage: The voltage of the
power source must correspond to the data written on
the tool name plate.
Tool start-up, Figure
• Switching ON: Push the ON/OFF switch forward.
Hold the tool firmly when you switch it on.
• Switch lock-on: Push the switch button forward and press
the front part in order to lock it.
• Switching OFF: Press the rear part of the ON/OFF switch .
The button will return to its original OFF position.
!
Switch off the power tool only when it is no longer in contact
with the workpiece.
Operation of electronics
The power tool is equipped with electronics that has the following
functions:
• It limits the starting current and thus allows the working speed to
be reached without provoking a reacting torque on starting the
machine. The motor does not start suddenly but the maximum
speed is achieved after two seconds. You can start working
after that time.
• It holds the speed between no-load and working load nearly
constant and thus allows even work.
• It protects the tool from overloading and the motor from
overheating. At short high overloading or long low overloading
of the tool, the built in overload protection electronics limits the
tool's operation, which turns very slowly. The tool will work
normally by switching it off and restarting it.
Frequent operation of overload protection signifies that the tool
is excessively overloaded and the motor can be damaged or its
service life will be shortened. Besides, excessive overloading will
not improve either the speed or the quality of the work.
It is recommended not to put so much pressure on the tool that
it would keep switching off. This way you will protect the tool.
We advise you to cool down the tool under no load for at least
one minute in case of several successive limiting functions.
• Speed preselection allows the adjustment of speed with button
. Tool's power is low at low speed settings, which enables
only easy works. Besides, the overload protection operates at
low power due to motor protection at low speed.

The necessary speed depends on the material of the workpiece.
