1.2 Requirements for the person responsible:
In the workshop / outside / onsite
The head of the company is responsible for the security in the machine's workplace and must only allow
qualified technicians to use the machine in the danger area.
About staff's safety
The instructions described below must be observed and applied for the operator's safety. The use of
personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
1.3 Intended use of the machine
AXXAIR's orbital machine is designed to be used in a production workshop or in a worksite in order to cut,
bevel and weld tube with necessary accessories. This part of the machine can only be used to tighten the
tube and to rotate the tool holder plate.
WARNING, do not modify any parts of the machine!
The user will be the only person responsible for damages caused by improper use. An improper use of the
machine will void the warranty.
1.4 Safety instructions:
It is strictly forbidden to use the machine outside during a stormy or a rainy weather!
The machine must only be used by qualified technicians who have been trained to use the equipment.
This machine should be used only for the job for which it was designed.
Keep your working area tidy. Untidiness increases the risks of accidents.
Consider the work area environment in which you use the equipment. Always work in a well-lit place.
When not in use, tools should be stored in a dry, secure place.
Maintain tools with care. Keep the machine clean for a better and safer performance.
Stay alert. Watch what you are doing. Use common sense. Do not operate tool when you are tired.
Use AXXAIR accessories only.
Repair by experts only. The machine is in accordance with the relevant safety rules. Damaged parts should
be properly repaired or replaced by an authorised after-service centre. DO NOT USE MACHINE IF
DAMAGED.
Dress properly with clothes adapted for the job. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. They could be
caught up in moving parts
Secure the machine on a workbench or into the ground via the security leg in order to work safety.
Check if your machine is damaged. Before using the machine ALWAYS check that no parts have been
damaged in order to be sure that it can perform its intended function. Check for alignment of moving parts,
binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, mounting, and any other conditions that may affect its
operation.
Use appropriate means for handling the machine.
