WARNING! The surfaces of the appliance may become hot
during use. Take special care not to touch the ventilation slots
and the inside of the frying basket until it has cooled down
completely.
Do not move the appliance during operation or when it is still
hot and contains hot food.
Use cooking gloves or oven mitts when coming into contact
with the hot parts of the appliance or food.
Hot steam escapes during the frying process, especially when
the frying basket is pulled out. Do not lean over the appliance.
Fry only in the enclosed frying pot. Use this frying pot exclusi-
vely with this fryer. Use the frying pot never otherwise.
Look for the hot steam rising from the air outlet. Do not cover
the ventilation slots.
2.3.2 Danger of Fire
WARNING
There is a danger of fi re due to the ignition of the content in the
event the device is not used properly. Adhere to the following
safety instructions in order to avoid a risk of fi re:
This device produces high temperatures, which can lead to burns.
This device works on hot air. Do not fi ll it with oil or fat! Danger of
burns!
Make sure that no fl ammable objects are above or near the
device.
Place the food into the frying basket and avoid that they touch
the heating elements.
If the appliance catches fi re, unplug it immediately and extin-
guish the fi re.
Never extinguish oil/grease fi res with water. Immediately un-
plug the appliance and smother the fi re with a blanket.
