Adjustment to Equalizer
In order to find the optimum adjustment
for your listening proceed as follows:
») Ensure that all frequency controls
are in the mid position (0 dB).
Adjust the control for 60 Hz until
you think the bass playback is right.
Correct the bass playback by
adjusting the control for 250 Hz
@ Use the 12000 Hz control to tune
the high range to the optimum.
a Correct the playback by adjusting
the slide control for 3500 Hz.
@ Check whether further improvement
of tone is possible by adjusting the
slide control for 1000 HZ.
@ Repeat the above 5 adjustments thus
improving the total tone reproduc-
tion.
When the correct adjustments have
been made, you can satisfy yourself that
the tone is considerably improved by
switching the equalizer off then back
on again

Pour obtenir le réglage qui vous
convient le mieux, veuillez procéder
comme suit:

@ Assurez vous que tous les curseurs
de frequences sont en position ao
médiane (0 dB).
Déplacez le curseur 60 Hz j jusqu'a
ce que la reproduction des graves
vous paraisse correcte.
@ Améliorez la reproduction des
graves en déplacant le curseur
250 Hz.
@ Réglez les aigties au niveau optimal
a l'aide du curseur 12 000 Hz.
@ Améliorez la reproduction en
deplacant le curseur 3500 Hz.
© Vérifiez si, en déplacant le curseur
1000 Hz, il est possible d'obtenir une
amelioration supplémentaire de la
tonalite.
@ Répétez les 5 réglages précédents
et améliorez ainsi impression
d'ensemble de la tonalité.
Si le reglage est correct, vous serez
convaincu de l'amélioration sensible de
la tonalité en mettant en marche 'puis en
arrétant l 'equalizer.
