HIGH VOLTAGE CHECK
High voltage is not adjustable but must be checked to
verify that the receiver is operating within safe and efficient
design limitations as specified:
1. Remove cabinet back.
2. Operate receiver for at least 15 minutes at AC line,
with strong air signal or test signal properly tuned
in,
3. Set Brightness and Contrast controls to maximum
position.

FOCUS
Adjust the Focus control with T602, located on the rear of
the TV chassis, for maximum over-all definition and fine
picture detail with Brightness and Contrast controls set at
normal viewing levels.
+B, ADJUSTMENT
1. Rotate the +B, adjust control (R783) counterclockwise
to its extreme position and turn on the power switch.
2. Check that the unit is operating normally, (say, the
raster, picture synchronization and size seem all normal
by the eye checking) and connect a DC voltmeter (0.5
class) to the 115V line.
3. Set the contrast control and brightness control, both to
"MIN" position and make the beam current be zero (0).
4. Rotate the R783, in turn, fully clockwise to make sure
the voltmeter reading won't exceed 130V. Only after
that, slowly rotate it clockwise until the reading be-
comes 115V.
. At the step 4, if the reading exceeds more than 130V,
once cut off the R784 and do the adjustment to derive
115V from rotating the R783.
6. At the step 4, if the reading, even after the adjustment,
can't go up to 115V, once cut off the R781 and again
do the adjustment.

V-HOLD, V-SIZE ADJUSTMENT
@ By receiving monoscope pattern.
1. Rotate the Contrast control fully clockwise while
the Brightness control fully counterclockwise.
2. Adjust the V-Size control (R516) to assure the best
amplitude of picture. (V-Size, 50%).
3. Rotate the V-Hold control (R504) to see how the
synchronization varies; set it at a position where the
synchronization becomes positioned at its centre.
4. Change the present channel to another and check
that the synchronization then is to collapse.
H-CENT ADJUSTMENT
e By receiving monoscope pattern.
1. Rotate the contrast control fully clockwise while the:
brightness control fully counterclockwise.
2. Adjust the H-Cent. control (SW601) to provide the
best right-to-left balance of picture.
