Connect a sweep generator to the TP207 — with the sweep output level at "70 dB."

Connect a response lead (with 10 kohm series resistor-direct probe on it) to the between R229 and earth.
Connect the AGC bias supply to the TP205 and adjust it so that the waveform oscilloscope becomes
PIF detection
1Vp-p — this should not exceed 10V at maximum.

Adjust the T202 so as to make the tuning point be at 38.9 MHz (the value at "P'').

Adjust the T201 so as to make the depressed point at the top of waveform be at 38.9 MHz (the

Connect an oscilloscope to the between R229 and earth (at horizontal synchronization),
Rotate the AGC knob until there will appear, on the oscilloscope, a little of noise mixed in the

synchronization signal and only after this, again use it to adjust so that the amplitude of
synchronization signal becomes in the range of 25 to 50 mVp-p, with the noise scarcely caused.
