Caution: Risk of electric shock! Do not attempt to disassemble of modify the unit or its
accessories. In case any part is damaged, immediately power off the unit and seek the
assistance of a specialist.
In the event that the power cable should become damaged, it should only be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service facility or similarly qualified personnel.
ASSEMBLING AND COMMISSIONING THE DEVICE
1. Carefully remove the packaging material so as not to damage the plastic casing with scissors or
a knife.
2. First, unfold the legs of the 3-legged stand strongly so that they jump over the fixing points and
are fixed in the extreme position.
3. Place the 3-leg stand on a firm horizontal surface.
4. Loosen the height fixing screw (16) and put the vertical stand (15) in place from above as shown
in figure 2. Screw the lower retaining ring (18) into place.
5. Raise the stand (15) to the upper position and secure it with the height fixing manual screw (16).
6. Place the motor on the vertical stand and secure it with a hand screw.
7. Fasten the rear grid (5) to the motor (10) with 4 screws (4) so that the carrying lug (6) is on top.
8. Fit the fan blade (2) to the end of the motor axle (7) and fix it with the blade fixing screw (3) so that
the screw is tight against the flat, flattened surface of the shaft end.
9. On the front grid (1), open the grid fixing tabs (19) and hang the front grid on the rear grid (5). The
brand mark (21) should be horizontal.
10. Fold in place the grid fixing tabs that hold the front and rear grids together.
11. Finally, screw the two grids together with the fixing screw at the bottom (20).
12. Connect to the electrical network (230 V~ / 50 Hz).
CLEANING
In order to the device to function optimally, it may be necessary to clean the device with a frequency
depending on the degree of contamination, but at least once a month.
1. Before cleaning, switch off the device and disconnect it from the power supply by pulling out the plug!
2. Attention! When the fan is de-energized, remove the front part of the protective grid!
3. Clean the outside of the device with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents!
Water must not get inside the device or on the electrical components!
4. Clean the protective grids with a vacuum cleaner and a brush attachment.
5. Attention! When the fan is de-energized, reinstall the protective grid on the fan!
6. Put the fan back into operation!
