Function and features
The PAAS module is used to open an AS-i spur or for additional volt-
age supply (current load 8A).
With the PAAS M12 module the AS-i voltage and external voltage can
be tapped via the M12 socket (current load 4A).
Mounting
Disconnect the installation.
Mounting of the lower part
Use a plane mounting surface. The module must lie on the mounting
surface with its whole bottom. Fix the lower part onto the mounting
surface (mounting holes
). The fixing screws are not supplied.
Insert the profile seals
is positioned at the end of the cable line, the terminating seals
must be inserted into the module lower part to ensure the protec-
tion rating IP65.
Version PAAS
Insert the incoming AS-i flat cable (yellow or black for the external volt-
age supply) into the cable duct "Line 1" and the outgoing AS-i flat
cable (yellow or black) into the cable duct "Line 2". Correctly position
the cables into the profile slot. The two cable ducts are electrically con-
nected in parallel.
With the PAAS version always use two AS-i flat cables of the
same colour (yellow/yellow or black/black) in line 1 and line 2.
Version PAAS M12
Insert the AS-i flat cable (yellow) into the cable duct "Line 1" and the
24V flat cable (black) into the cable duct "Line 2". Correctly position
the cables into the profile slot. Connect the PE wire to the screws
(with earth springs).

Le module PAAS est un répartiteur compact pour la dérivation de
câbles plats AS-i ou d'alimentation auxiliaire (courant max. 8A).
Le module PAAS M12 est un répartiteur compact 1 voie avec prise
M12 pour AS-i et l'alimentation auxiliaire (courant max. 4A).
Montage
Mettez l'installation hors tension.
Montage de l'embase du module
Utilisez une surface de montage plane. L'embase doit être posée à plat
sur toute sa surface de contact. Fixez-la à l'aide de vis dans les trous de
montage

Posez les étoupes profilées
module se trouve en bout de faisceau, posez les étoupes de fer-
meture
afin de garantir la protection IP65.
Version PAAS
Posez le câble plat entrant (jaune ou noir) dans le guide à câble "Line 1"
et le câble plat sortant (jaune ou noir) dans le guide à câble "Line 2".
Positionnez les câbles correctement dans les profilés. Les deux guides
à câbles sont connectés en parallèle.
Utilisez donc toujours dans les guides 1 et 2 deux câbles plats de
couleur identique (jaune/jaune ou noir/noir).
Version PAAS M12
Posez le câble plat AS-i (jaune) dans le guide à câble "Line 1" et le
câble plat 24V (noir) dans le guide à câble "Line 2". Positionnez les
câbles correctement dans les profilés. Raccordez le fil de masse PE aux
vis
(zone avec ressort).
