Problem
The frying basket cannot be
fully inserted into the product.
White smoke in the product.
Fresh french fries are not fried
evenly.
Fresh fries do not become
crispy.
Possible cause
The frying basket is overfilled.
The food is greasy.
The frying pot still has fat
residues from the previous
cooking process.
The potato sticks have not
been soaked sufficiently.
The potato variety is not suitable for deep frying.
The potatoes are too moist.

Troubleshooting
Do not fill the frying basket
higher than the MAX
mark 10 .
When preparing greasy food,
fat drips into the deep-frying
pot. The fat creates more heat
than normal in the frying pot -
this does not affect the
product or the cooking result.
Fat residues burn in the frying
chamber. Clean the frying pot
after each use.
Place the potato sticks in cold
water for about ½ hour so that
the starch can escape. Dry
them with kitchen paper
before filling.
The crispiness depends on the
water and starch content of
the potato variety and the
amount of oil.
Dry the potatoes carefully and
then cover them with about ½
tablespoon of oil.
Cut the potatoes into smaller
pieces.
