Preparing Your camera for Use

Your digital camera needs a Li-ion battery in order to operate . Slide and open the
battery door on the base of the camera .
1 . Insert the battery correctly with the correct polarity facing up .
2 . Close the battery door .
3 . On switching on your camera the battery icon will appear at the bottom
right of the LCD screen .

Note:
1 . A "low battery" message will flash on the LCD when the battery power is insufficient . Shortly thereafter your
camera will turn off .
2 . Remove the battery when you don't intend to use your camera for a long time . This can prolong the life time of
your battery and camera .
