TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom
REMAIN tape display does not
match with actual amount.
Meter does not display.
CD-Deck Synchro recording

TAPE CAPACITY selector is set incorrectly.

The mode is set to DISPLAY OFF.
Press the DISPLAY OFF button and set the mode
to ON.

Check the head for contamination.
m if the head is dirty, the sound might become unclear or
distorted, disturbing proper recording or playback. Make sure
to keep the head clean.
Cleaning of the head
The heads, capstans and pinch rollers are easily affected by
contamination from tape rotation, dirt or oil. Wipe away the
contamination periodically (once every ten hours of use) with a
commercially available head cleaning swab.
™ Cleaning Procedure
1. Press the cassette door OPEN/CLOSE button and open the
door.
2. Lightly moisten the cleaning swab with cleaning liquid, and
clean the heads, capstans and pinch rollers.

Before setting a cassette tape, wait a few minutes to make
