Improper handling of the ap-
pliance may result in damage.
■ Do not use the blending
shaft to chop things that
are not food. The blend-
ing shaft is not suitable for
making soap.
■ Do not use the blending
shaft to chop hard food, for
example, coffee beans, ice
or chocolate.
■ Do not use the blending
shaft for longer than one
minute at a time. Then let
it cool for two minutes.
■ Do not operate the appli-
ance without a load for
more than 15 seconds.
■ Do not operate the chopper
for more than 8 seconds at
a time.
■ Do not operate the whisk
for more than 10 seconds
at a time.
Using the blending
shaft
You can use the blending shaft (5)
for puréeing baby food, soups or
sauces, for example.
If you use the large mixing con-
tainer (8), make sure that you do
not fill it above the 700 ml capac-
ity.
To purée food, you need to use
some fluid, for example, water,
milk or juice. Add as much fluid as
required until the desired consist-
ency is reached.
Always use the large and deep
mixing container to get the best
blending result and to prevent
splashing.
