Unpacking the
appliance
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the ap-
pliance may result in damage.
■ Do not use sharp objects to
unpack the appliance.
1. Unpack the unit and accesso-
ries.
2. Carefully remove all parts of
the packaging, plastic profiles,
tape and foam padding.
Choose a suitable
location
• Position the appliance
– so that it is not on or next
to an oven or other heat
sources, or near to a sink.
– in such a way that it is out
of the reach of children.
– in such a manner that the
mains cord can become
damaged by sharp edges
or by coming into contact
with hot surfaces (e.g.
electrical hobs).
Cleaning before use
The appliance and its accessories
must be cleaned before first use,
in order to remove any packag-
ing or production residues (see
"Cleaning and maintenance" on
page EN-19).
